Unsparing is the cold within the chasm I fall through as I try to grasp the reality of what is done.
Welcoming and warm was she, who you invited into your fleeting desires while you cast me out.
How can one care for another but set them aside for such temporary pleasures? Vulnerability means nothing when it is forgotten in the moments your heart races as you hand caresses down the unfamiliar curves another. Compassion means nothing when you lean in to reach the lips of someone in front of you一what’s their name again? You can’t recall. Trust means nothing when you choose to share yourself with another in ways that I thought you saved just for me.
Is this not what comes, when you entertain the piqued interest of another?
Is constraint really so difficult?
